It is with humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the death of Mr. Isaac Gitau Karanja (Baba Kizzy) of Githurai Kimbo which occurred on 13/8/10 after a short illness. Husband of Priscilla Wambui Karanja. Son of late Mr. and Mrs. Ibrahim Gitau of Elburgon.

Father of Loise Karanja-Fry (ICAO,Montreal); Jennifer Smith (UK); late Florence Karanja; Kenneth Thuo (UK); Kizzy Fletcher (UK); Peter Gitau (USA); Nancy Simpson (UK) and Anthony Karanja. Grandfather of 15 and Great Grandfather of 3. Brother of Grace Waithira and David Kariuki(Nyakiambi). Step-brother of Isaac Karanja (Rongai), Martha Wahito (Nyakiambi) amongst others. Son-in-law of late Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Thuo (Karunga). Brother-in-law of Betty Thuo (USA) and Rahab Kamau.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital Nairobi at 8:00am on Friday 20/08/2010 for service at St. Andrews Church at 11:00am and thereafter he will be laid to rest at Langata Cemetry at 1:00pm.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Githurai Kimbo and at St. Andrew’s Church from Monday 16/8/10 at 5.00 pm.

We loved you dearly but God loved you most.

Rest in peace until we meet again.
